COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

PIEROGIES

BOILED - Most Recommended

Place frozen pierogies in boiling water for 7-8 minutes until they float to the top and are well puffed. DO NOT OVERCOOK. Drain in colander then lightly pan fry in butter or desired oil (1 min each side). Serve with your choice of toppings like sour cream, sauteed onions or any toppings desired. Be creative as you like.

PAN FRIED - A Traditional Favorite

Cover bottom of frying pan with cooking oil, margarine, or butter and heat to 190°C (375°F), or medium heat. Place frozen pierogies into frying pan, cover with lid and fry for 5 minutes on one side and then 5 minutes on the flip side. Serve with your choice of toppings like sour cream, sauteed onions or any toppings desired. Be creative as you like.

BAKE-A Light and Crispy Alternative

Preheat oven to 195°C (385°F). Place frozen pierogies on a non-stick baking pan. Spray both sides of the pierogies with cooking oil, or brush pierogies with light coating of cooking oil. Bake the first side for 10 minutes and flip side for 5 minutes. Serve with your choice of toppings like sour cream, sauteed onions or any toppings desired. Be creative as you like.

Product must be cooked to an internal temperature of 74°C or greater before serving.
